Week 12 Recap: Tight Finishes, Short Benches, and Standout Subs

Week 12 kicked off with a spirited clash between the leagueโ€™s lower-ranked squads, as Triple J edged AMOS 5โ€“4 in a game that proved both teams still have plenty of fight. Francis stepped in between the pipes for AMOS, keeping it close until the final buzzer.

OS Offices outlasted COS Velodrome 5-4 in a back-and-forth battle, trading goals and momentum throughout. OS found the edge late, securing a hard-earned win.

Ace held off Hollowbrook 4โ€“3, surviving a late push to claim the victory. Solid defensive play in the final minutes preserved the narrow lead.

World Orphans powered past a short-benched OUTCAN 5โ€“1, taking full advantage of their depth and pace. OUTCAN struggled to keep up with limited skaters.

The night wrapped with Platinum Group cruising past a depleted Nelson & Company 6โ€“1, with Seabass stepping in net and delivering a strong performance. Platinumโ€™s offense clicked early and never let up.

Week 11 Recap: High-Scoring Night and Heated Battles on the Ice

Week 11 delivered plenty of offense and a dose of drama as teams battled for positioning in the standings.

OUTCAN opened the night with a statement win, skating past OS Offices 6โ€“3. OUTCANโ€™s relentless forecheck and quick transitions proved too much, as they controlled the pace from start to finish.

In the second matchup, Hollowbrook edged World Orphans 4โ€“3 in a nail-biter. Both squads traded goals throughout, but Hollowbrookโ€™s late defensive stand sealed the victory.

Nelson & Company dominated Triple J 7โ€“1, showcasing their firepower and depth. From the opening puck drop, Nelson & Co. dictated play, leaving Triple J searching for answers.

Platinum Group overwhelmed Ace 8โ€“2 in a game mixed with some chaos. After a competitive opening stretch, Platinum seized control with a barrage of goals in the third period. Frustrations boiled over after physical play crossed the line, forcing officials to intervene. Despite the chippy play, Platinumโ€™s offensive surge left no doubt about the outcome.

Closing out the evening, Velodrome outlasted AMOS 5โ€“4 in another heated affair. Both teams pushed the tempo, but Velodromeโ€™s resilience in the final minutes secured the win amid a chippy, hard-fought battle.

Velodrome 2, Ace 1
In a hard-fought battle, Velodrome edged out Ace 2โ€“1. The gameโ€™s turning point came early, on a rare misplayโ€”Ace goalie Ian miss played on a puck that then slipped into the net. Velodrome held strong defensively, with the help of Francis Forte in net, to seal the win.

AMOS 2, World Orphans 2 (Tie)
AMOS and the Orphans skated to a 2โ€“2 draw in a gritty, evenly matched contest. Both teams had chances, but neither could break through late.

OUTCAN 5, Nelson & Company 1
OUTCAN stunned Nelson with a dominant 5โ€“1 win, handing them another tough loss. OUTCANโ€™s speed and puck control kept Nelson chasing all night.

OS Offices 8, HollowBrook Dental 3
OS Offices lit up the scoreboard, cruising past HollowBrook 8โ€“3. Their offense was relentless, and HollowBrook couldnโ€™t keep up with the pace.

Platinum Group 7, Triple J 3
Platinum closed the night with a strong 7โ€“3 win over Triple J. With Ryan Michels subbing in net, Platinum stayed composed and controlled the tempo throughout.

Week 8 delivered another round of high-energy matchups, with Ace extending their win streak, Velodrome locking down defensively, and goalie subs stepping up once again.

Ace 7, World Orphans 2
Ace opened the night with a dominant win over the Orphans, extending their streak to three straight. With the Orphansโ€™ regular goalie out, Francis Forte stepped in once again, but Aceโ€™s offense was too much to handle.

Nelson & Company 3, HollowBrook Dental 1
Nelson continued their strong form with a disciplined 3-1 win over HollowBrook. Solid defensive play and smart puck movement kept HollowBrook chasing all night.

OS Offices 7, Platinum Group 5
In a high-scoring battle, OS Offices outlasted Platinum Group 7-5. Both teams traded goals, but OS pulled away late with clutch scoring and strong net play.

Velodrome 5, Triple J 1
Velodrome cruised past Triple J with a confident 5-1 win. Their structure and speed were on full display, keeping Triple J on their heels from the opening faceoff.

OUTCAN closed the night with a 6-2 win over AMOS. With Francis Forte once again stepping in as goalieโ€”this time for AMOSโ€”OUTCAN took advantage and controlled the pace throughout.

Week 7 brought intensity, emotion, and the seasonโ€™s first shutout! With rivalries flaring and teams battling for position, the action on the ice was electric.

Platinum Group 4, HollowBrook Dental 4 (Tie)
In a heated battle, Platinum and HollowBrook skated to a 4-4 draw. The third period saw tempers flare and physical play ramp up, but neither team could break the deadlock.

Ace 6, AMOS 3
Ace kept the pressure on and doubled up AMOS in a solid win. AMOS showed fight, but Aceโ€™s offensive zone control proved too much.

OS Offices 5, Triple J 3
OS Offices stayed consistent with a 5-3 win over Triple J. Solid puck movement and timely goals kept them ahead throughout.

World Orphans 10, Nelson & Company 4
In a stunning upset, World Orphans lit up the scoreboard and handed Nelson a rare loss. The Orphansโ€™ offense was relentless, snapping Nelsonโ€™s win streak in emphatic fashion.

Velodrome 1, OUTCAN 0
Wyatt stole the show with the leagueโ€™s first shutout of the season, backstopping Velodrome to a tight 1-0 win over OUTCAN. A defensive battle from start to finish, this one was decided by a single, clutch goal.


League Notes:
Nelsonโ€™s streak ends, Wyatt earns the seasonโ€™s first shutout, and tensions rise between Platinum and HollowBrook. With playoff positioning starting to take shape, Week 8 is set to be a pivotal one.

Week 6 Recap: Nelson Streaks, OS & Orphans Light the Lamp, and Ace Rebounds

Week 6 brought a mix of bounce-backs, blowouts, and a wild tie to close the night. With the season heating up, every point is starting to matter.

Ace 5, Triple J 2
Ace opened the night with a solid win over a struggling Triple J squad. Ace went down 2 nothing early but after finding their rhythm bounced back and then never let go of the lead.

OUTCAN 5, HollowBrook Dental 3
OUTCAN kept their momentum rolling with a 5-3 win over HollowBrook. Despite a push from HollowBrook in the second, OUTCANโ€™s transition game and finishing touch sealed the deal.

Platinum Group 5, AMOS 1
Platinum continued their strong form, cruising past AMOS 5-1. AMOS couldnโ€™t generate much offense, and Platinum controlled the pace from start to finish.

Nelson & Company 2, Velodrome 1
In a tightly contested battle, Nelson extended their win streak with a gritty 2-1 victory over Velodrome. Both teams played disciplined hockey, but Nelsonโ€™s structure and timely scoring made the difference.

OS Offices 9, World Orphans 9 (Tie)
The night ended in chaos as OS Offices and World Orphans exploded for a 9-9 tie. It was an offensive showcase with lead changes, breakaways, and highlight-reel goals. Neither team could pull away, and both walked away with a point in a game to remember.


League Notes:

Platinum Group 5, World Orphans 3
Platinum Group edged out World Orphans in a close contest, thanks in part to Francis Forte stepping in between the pipes. Forte held strong under pressure, helping Platinum secure another solid win.

OUTCAN 6, Triple J 1
OUTCAN came out flying and never let up, dominating Triple J in a 6-1 rout. Their forecheck was relentless, and Triple J couldnโ€™t find answers on either end of the ice.

OS Offices 9, AMOS 2
AMOS welcomed back regular goalie Justin Bell, but it was a tough first outing as OS Offices poured on the pressure. OSโ€™s offense was firing on all cylinders, cruising to a commanding win.

Nelson & Company 7, Ace 3
Nelson & Co. continued their strong form with a decisive 7-3 win over Ace. Nelsonโ€™s puck movement and finishing were clinical, while Ace struggled to keep pace after a competitive first period.

Velodrome 4, HollowBrook Dental 2
Velodrome bounced back with a 4-2 win over HollowBrook, who had backup goalie Jared Wolf in net. Despite a solid effort from Wolf, Velodromeโ€™s speed and shot selection proved too much.

Platinum Group 4, Velodrome 3
Platinum handed Velodrome its second straight loss in a tightly contested battle. Velodrome pushed hard, but Platinumโ€™s late-game composure sealed the win.

Ace 3, OUTCAN 3 (Tie)
Ace jumped out to a 3-1 lead by the end of the first, but OUTCAN clawed back in the third to force a draw. Both goalies were lights out in the final frame, keeping the score locked and fans on edge.

Triple J 5, World Orphans 2
Triple J finally broke through with their first win of the season, taking down the World Orphans with a confident 5-2 performance. Solid puck movement and finishing made the difference.

AMOS 1, HollowBrook Dental 1 (Tie)
With short benches on both sides, AMOS and HollowBrook battled to a gritty 1-1 tie. Defense ruled the night, and neither team could find the extra gear to break the deadlock.
