Week 5 brought intensity, depth, and a few standout performances from unexpected places. With backup goalies stepping up and teams finding their groove, the league continues to deliver top-tier action.
Platinum Group 5, World Orphans 3
Platinum Group edged out World Orphans in a close contest, thanks in part to Francis Forte stepping in between the pipes. Forte held strong under pressure, helping Platinum secure another solid win.
OUTCAN 6, Triple J 1
OUTCAN came out flying and never let up, dominating Triple J in a 6-1 rout. Their forecheck was relentless, and Triple J couldn’t find answers on either end of the ice.
OS Offices 9, AMOS 2
AMOS welcomed back regular goalie Justin Bell, but it was a tough first outing as OS Offices poured on the pressure. OS’s offense was firing on all cylinders, cruising to a commanding win.
Nelson & Company 7, Ace 3
Nelson & Co. continued their strong form with a decisive 7-3 win over Ace. Nelson’s puck movement and finishing were clinical, while Ace struggled to keep pace after a competitive first period.
Velodrome 4, HollowBrook Dental 2
Velodrome bounced back with a 4-2 win over HollowBrook, who had backup goalie Jared Wolf in net. Despite a solid effort from Wolf, Velodrome’s speed and shot selection proved too much.
League Notes:
Platinum and Nelson keep rolling, Velodrome rebounds, and OS Offices flex their offensive muscle. With backup goalies stepping up and rivalries intensifying, Week 6 is shaping up to be a battle.
