The second week of the season brought fireworks, upsets, and a few storylines that are already shaping the league’s identity. From dominant wins to unexpected results, Sunday night delivered another thrilling round of hockey.
OUTCAN 9, OS Offices 4
OUTCAN came out swinging and never looked back, overwhelming OS Offices with a relentless offensive barrage. OS struggled to contain the rush and couldn’t match the pace.
Velodrome 8, AMOS 1
Velodrome continues to impress in its inaugural campaign, steamrolling AMOS with an 8-1 victory. The score line tells a story, but there’s more behind it—AMOS’s regular goalie was a no-show, forcing OS Offices’ Casey to step in for a rare double-header between the pipes. Thank you for stepping up and helping out Casey!
World Orphans 5, HollowBrook Dental 1
In one of the night’s biggest surprises, World Orphans stunned HollowBrook Dental with a commanding 5-1 win. After a tough opener, the Orphans bounced back with energy and execution, flipping the script and grabbing their first W of the season.
Ace 5, Platinum 2
Ace and Platinum added another chapter to their growing rivalry, with Ace coming out on top in a physical, high-tempo matchup. These two squads have built tension over the past two seasons, and Sunday’s clash didn’t disappoint. Ace’s transition game and finishing touch proved too much for Platinum to handle.
Nelson & Company 4, Triple J 1
Nelson & Co. wrapped up the night with a methodical 4-1 win over Triple J. Solid defense, smart puck movement, and timely scoring kept Nelson in control from start to finish. Triple J showed flashes but couldn’t break through Nelson’s structure.
